Description of Practice and Representative Engagements
- Mr. Ingersoll has developed expertise in the fields of taxation, corporate and business law, reorganizations and corporate governance as well as real estate and financing transactions.
- He has represented large and medium sized corporations in connection with numerous mergers, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and various types of reorganizations and he has provided tax planning and advice in connection with the structuring of such transactions. He has also represented venture capitalists and obtained rulings regarding Hawaii high technology tax credits.
- Mr. Ingersoll also has extensive experience in connection with the acquisition and sale of hotels, agricultural businesses and lands, and other types of real estate transactions and he has handled complex financing arrangements and leasing arrangements in connection with both real estate and corporate transactions.
