The firm has represented a major party in almost every major bankruptcy and insolvency case in Hawaii over the past thirty years. We have represented trustees, debtors-in-possession, state court receivers, secured and unsecured lenders, and equity holders in numerous bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings involving a wide variety of industries, including finance, construction, retail and commercial operations, airlines, investment firms, agriculture, and conglomerates involved in multiple industries. The firm has also represented the State of Hawaii, as its special counsel, in various bankruptcy cases and we have represented the State's Insurance Commissioner as receiver of insolvent insurance companies.
